THE URBAN Ride 2008

The Urban Ride 08 is an event series taking place at the UK’s leading snowsport venues to showcase Britain’s top freestyle ski talent.  The event will be taking place from the 11th to the 17th October at SNOZone Castleford, Ski Rossendale, Chill Factore, Tamworth Snowdome, Norfolk Ski Club and SNOZone Milton Keynes.
 
The Urban Ride is the official UK qualifier for London Ride taking place on the 26th October at the Olympia, London, the showcase event at the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show 2008 (www.metrosnow.co.uk).  Through the Urban Ride, 6 UK riders will get the chance to qualify for the London Ride and compete against top European Riders.

The competitons at each of the venue’s will offer riders the chance to show their skills and style on various big air kickers and rails that will be specially laid on by the venues.
 
The Urban Ride will be filmed and a TV highlights internet broadcast will be available to view through this website later in October.  Riders who qualify at each of the venues will be announced at the end of each night.
