THE URBAN Ride 2008

The Urban Ride 08 is an event series taking place at the UK’s leading snowsport venues to showcase Britain’s top freestyle ski talent.  This year the event took place from the 11th to the 17th October at SNOZone Castleford, Ski Rossendale, Chill Factore, Tamworth Snowdome, Norfolk Ski Club and SNOZone Milton Keynes.
 
The Urban Ride was the official UK qualifier for London Ride 08 which took place on the 26th October at the Olympia, London, the showcase event at the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show 2008 (www.metrosnow.co.uk).  Through the Urban Ride, 6 UK riders got the chance to qualify for the London Ride and compete against top European Riders.

The competitons at each of the venue’s offered the riders the chance to show their skills and style on various big air kickers and rails that will be specially laid on by the venues.
